Pumps

Pumps transfer fluid from one location to another. Different types of pumps are used for different types of products and operating conditions.

Centrifugal Pumps
Basic pumps good for water and other low viscosity fluids.
Lobe Pumps
A positive displacement pump, an industry standard type for gentle pumping of high viscosity and sensitive fluids.
Twin Screw Pumps
Another type of positive displacement pump good for pumping fluids of high viscosity and low viscosity. Unlike centrifugal or lobe pumps, these pumps can be used as a single pump option for both product pumping and CIP pumping in the right application.
Double diaphragm pumps
Often powered with compressed air instead of an electric motor (Air operated double diaphragm pump or AODD) These pumps are great at pumping very high viscosity fluids and fluids with high solids content over short distances. They can also be built with no metal product contact areas giving them a good resistance to corrosive chemicals.
